The Aries Full Moon Will Bring Your Future Happiness into Focus

Rise up dear one, rise up! It’s time for you to do what you have come here to do. Allow the energy of the Moon in Aries to give you clarity and purpose. Ask yourself: “What is the next step I need to take to step towards the reward of greater happiness?”

On 9th/10th October, depending on where you live in the world, we celebrate a full Moon in the sign of Aries.

Aries is an action orientated, singularly focused sign, which is great for getting things done in your life, especially if you’re struggling to get started.

Working with Full Moon Energy

The full Moon is about celebration, completion, reflection and forgiveness. It is the energetic climax of the lunar cycle, and if can provide us with an intense and complex experience.

I like to use full Moon energy in two main ways:

  1. Reflection - I consider and contemplate my journey since the new Moon, where I set my intentions and wishes for the cycle ahead. This is a great time to review those goals and dreams and consider what needs to be done differently.
  2. Preparation for Release - As I contemplate my journey and destination, I consider what is holding me back, no longer serving and keeping me stuck. The full Moon is a great time to prepare for releasing and letting go. I find that the energy of the Waning Gibbous Moon, just a few days after the full Moon event is the best time to begin the releasing process.

Full Moon energy gives us the chance to ask those difficult questions and consider our blocks to success. As the light of the full Moon illuminates the world around us, there is also an internal illumination happening, and often things once hidden come to the surface.

Be Actively Happy with the Full Moon in Aries

Can the Moon bring you happiness? It’s quite a big question, isn’t it?

Aries is a fire sign. It is all about taking action and getting things done. It’s a great sign to explore if you want to get motivated on a new project or inject a bit of energy into an existing one.

Quite often, when we look at what we want to achieve, we do it based on things like financial goals, material benefit, or other practical and tangible measures of success, which are all great things. However, it is important to explore what we want to achieve from different perspectives.

When working with the lunar energies, we take the strength of that particular Moon and use it to accomplish what we want.

Aries energy is all about taking action, this is not a passive process. It’s a choice with action steps associated with it.

This means to focus on giving happiness a boost, it’s important to take steps to make it happen.

Steps to being actively happy

You need to determine what happiness looks like. Create a set of action steps to get there. And let go of the things that get in your way of being happy.

The full Moon can help with this, as it is a time to pause and reflect, which is great for getting clear on what happiness looks like for you.

You can then use the action orientated energy of Aries to give your motivation and boost and start taking action towards a happier future.

And finally, as the Moon wanes, it’s energetically the right time to release and let go.

Well, apart from the obvious reason that being happy is good and nice to have in our lives, improved happiness also positively influences every other part of our lives too.

  • Relationships are easier
  • Creative inspiration increases
  • Motivation is boosted
  • It’s easier to be present
  • Challenges can be more readily overcome
  • You attract more of what you want in your life (LOA loves happiness)
  • Work feels less like a chore
  • The hard stuff isn’t as hard as it once was
