Where do I get my creative inspiration?
This is a question I get asked quite often and in a way it’s hard to answer because it is literally everywhere.
However, that’s pretty much the most unhelpful answer ever so let’s go into more detail.
When I first started creating art on a regular basis I was worried that I would run out of ideas, or that my art would become repetitive and boring, but that’s not been the case at all.
- I surround myself with things that stimulate ideas and creativity.
- I love to research and check out what’s going on with other creatives on social media
- I look out for potential ideas everywhere I go
- And I am open to the possibility of something different or new to help me break away from routine
Instagram is probably my biggest resource as far as creative inspiration on social media is concerned.
The great thing about Instagram is that by following specific accounts and hashtags I get to create a news feed which includes all the stuff that makes me want to create my own art.
Here’s some of my favourite creative accounts which I love seeing in my feed each day:
Let me know in the comments if you love any of these are if you have any top recommendations you think I might enjoy too!
And don’t forget that I’m over on Instagram too!
