The New Moon in Gemini
3rd June 2019
Things are about to get a bit faster and a bit more social as we begin the June lunar cycle in the sign of Gemini, this may or may not be music to your ears.
As a happy introvert who loves her own space I embrace a cycle which supports me getting out there a bit more, however I am preparing to take plenty of steps back into my own little world when the need to recharge becomes too great.
With a lot of social energy flying about this is a time for fun but remember that learning to find balance is going to be essential here.
When is the New Moon in Gemini?
I’m in the UK and the New Moon is at 11:01 AM on Monday 3rd June.
Here’s a link to find out what time it is in your part of the world
I’ve also included some time zones below for quick reference.
What does it mean when the New Moon is in Gemini?
The New Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon meet in the sky causing the Moon to go dark when viewed from the Earth. This phase is all about new beginnings and planting the seeds for the future.
The sign of the zodiac in which the new moon occurs themes the whole of the lunar cycle (from New Moon to New Moon). Gemini is ruled by Mercury the planet of communication and learning. The symbol of the twins highlights the duality of the sign. And as an air sign we find ourselves spending more time in our heads with lots of ideas and thoughts coming through.
