In 2018 I opened the doors to my How to Create Mindful Mandala Art Course three times and I was totally blown away by the response and the results.
This course is very dear to my heart as it’s creation last year was all down to how I had personally used mandala art to heal, open the doors to my spiritual awakening and to grow as a person in many parts of my life.
The 2019 version of the course is exciting as I’ve re-recorded the tutorials with better lighting and camera angles. And I’ve added some amazing new content including creating sacred geometry mandalas.
And although I can clearly talk about Mandala’s and the course forever, I’m going to share some insight from the 2018 members instead.
I asked two questions:
- Why did you join the course?
- What’s the biggest benefit you’ve experienced from being part of the course?
Check out what they have to say below:
Beckie Coupe says……..
“Although I’ve always loved to create, the joy I got from creating art was always tampered by my perfectionism! I just ended up feeling frustrated so my art supplies would quickly be packed back up and forgotten about for another year or two”

“So when I heard about Sarah’s mandala course my ears pricked up! I’d never heard of mandalas and the whole concept immediately appealed to me. I was in awe of Sarah’s artwork and inspired enough to dust off my art supplies again. Honestly, I thought it would probably end up being another short lived creative phase for me but I could not have been more wrong!”

“I joined the course almost a year ago and I’ve been hooked on creating mandala art ever since watching the very first video. It’s so much fun and it’s now my go to thing if I want to relax and chill out or feel totally blissful and at ease
Funnily enough, I also find it great for my business! I always sit with a notebook to hand when I’m drawing mandalas because new ideas seem to pop into my mind when I’m busy drawing
I really cannot recommend this course enough!”

Sherry Gun says……
“I joined the second cycle of the Mindful Mandala, I watched friends in the first cycle and was so amazed at the incredible creations they were sharing. I’ve always wanted to be artistic but never trusted myself to try.”

“One of the greatest things to come out of the course for me is faith and a willingness to try new things. And the courage to share my results. The second great thing to come out of this was an actual skill for drawing. Not just mandalas but other drawings to. This came as a complete surprise and I’m thrilled.”

Debbie Holland says…..
“I’ve always loved and been fascinated by mandalas. When I saw the course I just wanted to learn to draw them or at least learn how they were put together, but never thought I would be any good at it. It just drew me in and I wanted to do it.
“The biggest thing I got from the course is that I have discovered a huge artistic talent and creative side that I never even knew existed. I never thought I could draw in my 58 years and that I had any artistic talent at all.”

“When I started drawing I found this huge artistic and creative well and that my drawing comes through me and not from me. It’s been amazing and to find people want to buy my work and learn from me seems incredible and unbelievable. But never the less people do buy my work and I do run successful workshops. I still find it amazing that every single one of the people I have taught has produced completely beautiful works of art!”

Tasha Marlow says……
“I joined the course because I’ve always been fascinated with Mandalas but didn’t feel could draw them as I’m not an artist. But I do like being creative. I was also looking for something to calm my mind during worrisome and stressful times”

“There’s so many things I’ve received from this course. I completely loose myself when drawing mandalas which greatly alleviates my stress and allows my mind to process what is going on without me overthinking.”

“I’m certainly not an artist but am proud of what I draw and have learned to let go of the perfectionism (well mostly 😂) and have surprised myself allowing me to gain back some self confidence.”

“The Facebook group is a safe place to learn and explore different ideas and techniques. We are very supportive of each other.”
Linda Brown says……
“I joined Sarah’s course because I was looking for a new way to become creative. I had never drawn a mandala before and I had seen them many times thinking to myself that they were difficult to do”

“The biggest thing I got from your course is difficult to answer. It gives me so much. If I have to choose just one thing then it has to be learning how to stop criticising myself and relaxing into my creativity. The support from Sarah and all the group members to each other is inspiring. It really is a positive lovely group to be apart of”

Odette Vaudrey says…..
Odette was last years prize winner for a free place on the course and she has embraced the content and mandala art ever since.
“I really wanted to join and along Sarah came with a competition to win a place in the mandala art course and I won!!! I took a chance and had so much fun colouring in a mandala and posted it. Best prize I’ve ever won!!!”

“The biggest thing I have learned is that I am artistic and it has opened up a world of creativity that needed to be uncovered. I have also branched off in other artistic areas such as pewter, painting and quilling. Somehow the mandala shows up in them all. Thanks Sarah for opening me up and teaching me a creative way to in a way meditate too.”

Kyla Maestas Says….
Mandalas were my first experience with trying to draw anything outside of stick figures.
I joined the course to support the meditation process and my ability to visualize during guided meditations. I had seen some of Sarah’s mandalas inside another group and had an opportunity to explore working with mandalas and create one before I joined the course. Mandalas were my first experience with trying to draw anything outside of stick figures.
This course helped me develop confidence and helped me to let go of a deep rooted need for perfection
I have unlocked something creative and imaginative within myself. I have pursued creativity in different ways before (rubber stamping/scrapbooking) but nothing like this. With mandalas, I was the one actually doing the drawing. I showed my family some of my mandalas I was creating and they were blown away, they had no idea I could draw like that. The truth is, I didn’t know either, not until I met Sarah. This course helped me develop confidence and helped me to let go of a deep rooted need for perfection. I love this course and cannot believe the hidden talents that were unlocked through the creative process. Thank you Sarah!!
